Quickly Export VPS Avenger Drum Sounds under Logic Pro

Heya,

I just read on Facebook in the VPS Avenger Group, that people find it tedious to export VPS Avenger drums.

So I desided to create this blog post, to show that it is actually quite quickand easy.

I show you 3 ways, here we go:

1.) Bounce Avenger Drums and Slice to Quicksampler

  • Instantiate Avenger
  • Disable OSC 1
  • Load an Avenger Drumkit you like to export
  • Paint in notes to trigger the drums, make sure that they all have enough room to fully decay
  • Bounce region to new track
  • normalize the sample (optional, if you like)
  • Drag to empty track region (create new track) to automatically slice to quick sampler

2.) Bounce Avenger Drums and Slice DMD (Drum Machine Designer)

  • Instantiate Avenger
  • Disable OSC 1
  • Load an Avenger Drumkit you like to export
  • Paint in notes to trigger the drums, make sure that they all have enough room to fully decay
  • Bounce region to new track
  • normalize the sample (optional, if you like)
  • Drag to empty track region(create new track) to automatically slice to DMD (Drum Machine Designer)

3.) Bounce Avenger Drums and Slice DMD direct no bounce

Same as 2.) but without additionally bounce! Yes you can even drag a MIDI region which get bounced and sliced automatically!

  • Instantiate Avenger
  • Disable OSC 1
  • Load an Avenger Drumkit you like to export
  • Paint in notes to trigger the drums, make sure that they all have enough room to fully decay
  • Drag to empty track region (create new track) to automatically slice to DMD (Drum Machine Designer)
  • (optional, crop and normalize each slice)

You might have noticed that the are more then the above shown drop targets,

I wish you a lot of fun exploring these:
